Transpersonal
Art Therapy - the ‘Royal Road’ to Inner Healing
NEW!!
1 day
The
creation of art can help people to get in touch with hidden
thoughts and feelings which may not be accessed through the
conscious mind. It is often easier to express yourself
through the medium of art, rather than using the spoken
word.
Art, like
dreams, uses symbols and images to promote understanding and
healing. It is undertaken for its healing benefits and not
for diagnosis or the creative end result. Making a piece of
art triggers an internal activity that contributes to
physical, emotional and spiritual healing. Art can,
therefore, be a powerful tool on your journey to
self-realisation and as an important aid in psychoanalysis.
In
this experiential workshop you will:
• Explore
the meaning and significance of Transpersonal psychology.
• Explore
transpersonal art therapy as a Visionary practise
• Explore
the use of ritual, symbol and myth in healing.
•
Experience various art therapy techniques, useful for your
personal
journey and
in therapeutic settings.
