Building Resilience and Wellbeing
Product Description
We live in an age that is characterised by busy-ness and stress that affects the quality of our relationships, our work and our health. Stress affects our ability to be creative, to solve problems and to cope emotionally. Under extreme stress a resilient person can still manage to make good decisions, stay focused and stay in control emotionally.
Does resilience depend on personality type? Does it depend on type development?
How can we strengthen ourselves so that we can stay focused when we are tested? How do we ensure healthy relationships, peak performance and good health in a stressful environment?
In this session we will explore the effect of type and the level of type development on our ability to cope in difficult situations. We will look at theory, real life examples and some practical strategies for improving resilience and staying focused in difficult times.
Topics include:
- Using the MajorsPT-Elements (Step II) with clients;
- the link between type, stress and health;
- neuroscience research;
- PTSD & type;
- fitness and type;
- antidotes for stress;
- managing dysfunctional behaviour in self and others;
- psychological games different types play;
