The Shadows of Type model places psychological type theory back into its  original Jungian context, upgrading this to set it within the psychosynthesis model, and then combining it with ego development theory. The result of this  is a set of detailed descriptions of the sixteen psychological types through seven levels of ego development. Using the type descriptions with the suggested coaching techniques and applications, the Shadows of Type approach enables coaches to work with psychological type developmentally, transformationally and transpersonally.
